Junior Fine Arts State Competition
May 19, 2009
Our Kids are the BEST!
Last week when over 1500 kids and their sponsors and parents stepped onto the campus of Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, you could feel the excitement in the air. With skill and precision they played, sang, performed, and displayed their God-given talents as unto Him and what a blessing it was.
On Thursday, FACCS hosted the large music and speech groups then on Friday, all of the solos and small groups performed. All who participated qualified to attend on the regional level and the competition was very close in most categories. To all who placed, CONGRATULATIONS!

Many thanks go out to Mrs. Cindy Rouse - State JFA Coordinator, Danny Remchuk, and all of their assistants and helpers for running a smooth and organized event. Also, to Cynthia Lamerson, Dr. Ken Phillips, and all of the Palm Beach Atlantic University faculty, staff, and students who helped - we say a big THANK YOU!
If your school didn't participate this year - let next year be your year to jump into the excitement. FACCS offers a full competition/festival program for 1st-12th grades in:
- Regional and State Spelling Bee;
- Creative Writing Regional Festival and State Competition;
- Brain Bowl;
- High School Fine Arts State Competition;
- Junior Fine Arts Regional Festival and State Competition.
Look for the Pre-Registration information on the Competition page at the FACCS web site in July.
