The FACCS Creative Writing Regional Festivals and State Competition are writing events for 1st through 8th grade students.

FACCS Creative Writing Regional Festival 2012
Click here to download the Poetry and Essay topics for 2012 (PDF file). All entries Elementary and Middle School Poetry and Essay must select one of these topics from the appropriate category.
Online Registration on left. Registration MUST be completed by no later than January 13th, 2012.
The Regional Festival is held via post mail as entries are mailed in to be judged. Entries must arrive at your regional event location by no later than Friday, January 20, 2012. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!!! Click here for addresses to which you should send your entries.
Contact your regional or event coordinator for specific mailing instructions if not listed below.
Regional Festival entries in each grade and category that receive the highest evaluation per grade/category with at least an "Excellent" rating will be automatically forwarded to the FACCS Creative Writing State Competition.
Entries that are not forwarded to State Competition will be mailed back to the school after February 17th.
FACCS Creative Writing State Competition
The piece in each category/grade with the highest evaluation per grade/category with at least an "Excellent" rating from the Regional Festival will be automatically forwarded on to this Competition.
Winners from this event will be published on this web site.
Entries and awards from this event will be mailed back to the school after March 19th.
